The work Spazio Elastico: Rettangolo by Gianni Colombo was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Art Sale auction at Sothebys in Milan in November 2013. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 56,700.00 62% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Gianni Colombo have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Strutturazione pulsante in October 2015 with an auction result of GBP 314,500.00 (€ 439,906.95).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 62 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Spazio Elastico: Rettangolo von Gianni Colombo wurde im November 2013 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art Sale bei Sothebys in Mailand versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 56.700,00 und damit 62% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Gianni Colombo auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Strutturazione pulsante im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 314.500,00 (€ 439.906,95).
