Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Violenza by Giangiacomo Spadari was auctioned at Il Ponte in December 2016, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 1,500.00 – 2,500.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 1,400.00. Other works by Giangiacomo Spadari have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in December 2017 by the work Tavolo di lavoro at EUR 1,900.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Violenza von Giangiacomo Spadari im Dezember 2016 bei Il Ponte versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 1.500,00 – 2.500,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 1.400,00 den Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Giangiacomo Spadari wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im Dezember 2017 die Arbeit Tavolo di lavoro mit EUR 1.900,00.
