Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2006 Christies in Milan held the auction Old Master Pictures, which included the work Assunzione di Santa Maria Egiziaca by Gianfrancesco Tura. The price achieved of EUR 34,720.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Gianfrancesco Tura - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Holy Family In A Wooded River Landscape With Ships And A Castle Across The River Beyond, which sold at auction in May 2016 for USD 118,750.00 (€ 106,645.71).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2006 führte Christies in Mailand die Auktion Old Master Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Assunzione di Santa Maria Egiziaca von Gianfrancesco Tura zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 34.720,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 30.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Gianfrancesco Tura mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Holy Family In A Wooded River Landscape With Ships And A Castle Across The River Beyond beobachtet, die im Mai 2016 für USD 118.750,00 (€ 106.645,71) versteigert wurde.
