Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of GBP 7,170.00 (€ 9,342.02) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Giacomo Del Po have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work San Giovanni Evangelista in December 2001 with an auction result of ITL 46,550,000.00 (€ 41,838.00).
