Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May last year Il Ponte held the auction Arte moderna e contemporanea, which included the work Appunti per un ritratto, Ritratto di Annina Levi Della Vida Capponi by Giacomo Balla. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 3,500.00 17% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giacomo Balla achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Automobile In Corsa in November 2013 with an auction result of USD 11,477,000.00 (€ 8,435,249.15).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai letzten Jahres führte Il Ponte die Auktion Arte moderna e contemporanea durch, in der auch die Arbeit Appunti per un ritratto, Ritratto di Annina Levi Della Vida Capponi von Giacomo Balla zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 3.500,00 und damit 17% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Giacomo Balla erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Automobile In Corsa im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 11.477.000,00 (€ 8.435.249,15).
