In April 2010 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Master Paintings and British Paintings, which included the work Venus Stealing Cupid'S Bow by Giacinto Diano. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 20,000.00 (€ 23,016.09), 33% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Giacinto Diano - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A Modello For The Massacre Of The Innocents, which sold at auction in January 2014 for USD 68,750.00 (€ 50,925.93).

Im April 2010 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Old Master Paintings and British Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Venus Stealing Cupid'S Bow von Giacinto Diano zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 20.000,00 (€ 23.016,09) und damit 33% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Giacinto Diano mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A Modello For The Massacre Of The Innocents beobachtet, die im Januar 2014 für USD 68.750,00 (€ 50.925,93) versteigert wurde.
