Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2021 Sothebys in Milan held the auction Contemporary Art | Milan, which included the work Superficie a testura vibratile satinata - studio 1974 by Getulio Alviani. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 18,000.00 – 25,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 18,900.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Getulio Alviani have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Superficie A Testure Vibratile in October 2017 with an auction result of GBP 93,750.00 (€ 106,893.35).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2021 führte Sothebys in Mailand die Auktion Contemporary Art | Milan durch, in der auch die Arbeit Superficie a testura vibratile satinata - studio 1974 von Getulio Alviani zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 18.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 18.900,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Getulio Alviani auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Superficie A Testure Vibratile im Oktober 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 93.750,00 (€ 106.893,35).
