In May 2009 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Old Master and 19th Century Art, which included the work A pewter jug, a silver cup, a ham on a silver plate, a knife on a pewter plate and a roll of bread, all on a partially draped wooden table by Gerrit Willemsz. Heda. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 75,400.00 26% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Gerrit Willemsz. Heda - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work An overturned silver tumbler and a roemer on a pewter plate, a façon-de-Venise wineglass, a nautilus cup, a pie and a partly-peeled lemon on pewter plates on a partly-draped table, which sold at auction in July 2003 for GBP 150,850.00 (€ 197,171.12).

Im Mai 2009 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Old Master and 19th Century Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit A pewter jug, a silver cup, a ham on a silver plate, a knife on a pewter plate and a roll of bread, all on a partially draped wooden table von Gerrit Willemsz. Heda zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 75.400,00 und damit 26% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Gerrit Willemsz.
