Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of GBP 2,000.00 (€ 2,363.77) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,500.00 – 2,500.00. Admittedly, works by Gerrit Johan van Leeuwen have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Still life with an urn with flowers, a birdsnest and insects in December 2020 with an auction result of SEK 185,000.00 (€ 18,424.37).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.000,00 (€ 2.363,77) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.500,00 – 2.500,00 angegeben worden.
