In the Urban & Pop Contemporary auction, the work Sans Titre - 1987 sold for EUR 1,300.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 500.00. Admittedly, works by Gérard Zlotykamien have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sans Titre - 1959 in July 2020 with an auction result of EUR 9,750.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Gérard Zlotykamien erzielte im November 2021 bei Artcurial in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Urban & Pop Contemporary wurde die Arbeit Sans Titre - 1987 für EUR 1.300,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Gérard Zlotykamien auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Sans Titre - 1959 im Juli 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 9.750,00.
