This artwork by Gérard Huysser achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in Paris in November 2007. In the Orientalism & Africanism auction, the work Unknown sold for EUR 620.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 300.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Gérard Huysser; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Ghardaia, 1925 sold at auction in November 2007 with the realized price of EUR 744.00.

In der Auktion Orientalism & Africanism wurde die Arbeit Unknown für EUR 620,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 300,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Gérard Huysser; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Ghardaia, 1925 im November 2007 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 744,00.
