This artwork by Gérard Huysser achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in Paris in November 2007. In the Orientalism & Africanism auction, the work Unknown sold for EUR 620.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 300.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Gérard Huysser; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Ghardaia, 1925 sold at auction in November 2007 with the realized price of EUR 744.00.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Gérard Huysser erzielte im November 2007 bei Artcurial in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Orientalism & Africanism wurde die Arbeit Unknown für EUR 620,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 300,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Gérard Huysser; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Ghardaia, 1925 im November 2007 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 744,00.
