This artwork by Gérard Ernest Schneider achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in June this year. In the Art de l'Avant-Garde à nos jours 1912 – 2017 auction, the work Sans titre sold for EUR 24,320.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 10,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gérard Ernest Schneider achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Opus 375 in October this year with an auction result of EUR 289,800.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Gérard Ernest Schneider erzielte im Juni diesen Jahres bei Bonhams einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Art de l'Avant-Garde à nos jours 1912 – 2017 wurde die Arbeit Sans titre für EUR 24.320,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 10.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gérard Ernest Schneider erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Opus 375 im Oktober diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 289.800,00.
