Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Un Jour À Amsterdam by Gérard Deschamps was auctioned at Sothebys in Paris in June 2014. The price achieved of EUR 22,500.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 18,000.00 – 25,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Gérard Deschamps - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Siri Ya Furaha Haionekani, which sold at auction in June 2020 for EUR 68,750.00.

Die Arbeit Un Jour À Amsterdam von Gérard Deschamps kam im Juni 2014 bei Sothebys in Paris zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 22.500,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 18.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Gérard Deschamps mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Siri Ya Furaha Haionekani beobachtet, die im Juni 2020 für EUR 68.750,00 versteigert wurde.
