The result of EUR 15,000.00 was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Admittedly, works by Gérard Deschamps have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Siri Ya Furaha Haionekani in June 2020 with an auction result of EUR 68,750.00.
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Mouchoirs 18 von Gérard Deschamps kam im Oktober 2017 bei Christies in Paris zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 15.000,00 entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Gérard Deschamps auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Siri Ya Furaha Haionekani im Juni 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 68.750,00.
