Despite a disappointment, a good price for Geraldo de Barros
In October last year a collector was able to acquire this work without title by Geraldo de Barros for USD 11,970.00 (€ 12,049.53). This price was achieved in the auction Latin American Art Online at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00 set by the auction house. Despite this disappointing result, this work without title is the most expensive artwork by Geraldo de Barros that we have observed at auction so far.
