Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Welsh Landscape by Gerald Edward Moira was auctioned at Christies in September 2021. The price achieved of GBP 2,500.00 (€ 2,908.78) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Gerald Edward Moira - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Market scene, south of the Thames, which sold at auction in December 2012 for GBP 9,375.00 (€ 11,561.98).
