Auction result well in line with expectations
In January 2001 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS AT THE KUNSTFABRIEK, which included the work Houses along a canal in a Belgian town by Ger Langeweg. The price achieved of NLG 1,175.00 (€ 514.16) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as NLG 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ger Langeweg achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Vrouwen in grazige weiden in March 2000 with an auction result of NLG 12,872.20 (€ 5,476.13).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Januar 2001 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS AT THE KUNSTFABRIEK durch, in der auch die Arbeit Houses along a canal in a Belgian town von Ger Langeweg zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von NLG 1.175,00 (€ 514,16) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit NLG 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ger Langeweg erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Vrouwen in grazige weiden im März 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von NLG 12.872,20 (€ 5.476,13).
