A top price for Georgios Jakobides
This artwork by Georgios Jakobides achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in April 2008. In the The Greek Sale auction, the work Greeg Randpa'S New Pipe sold for GBP 535,700.00 (€ 682,941.80) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 300,000.00. This high result makes Greeg Randpa'S New Pipe the most expensive artwork by Georgios Jakobides that we have observed at auctions so far.
