Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2001 Christies in London held the auction RUSSIAN PAINTINGS AND WORKS OF ART, which included the work Carts crossing a Ford by Georgiy Konstantinovich Savitsky. The price achieved of GBP 4,700.00 (€ 7,479.18) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Georgiy Konstantinovich Savitsky achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Still Life With Hollyhocks in November 2011 with an auction result of GBP 151,250.00 (€ 176,568.89).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2001 führte Christies in London die Auktion RUSSIAN PAINTINGS AND WORKS OF ART durch, in der auch die Arbeit Carts crossing a Ford von Georgiy Konstantinovich Savitsky zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 4.700,00 (€ 7.479,18) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Georgiy Konstantinovich Savitsky erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Still Life With Hollyhocks im November 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 151.250,00 (€ 176.568,89).
