Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2005 Christies in London held the auction 19th Century European Art including Russian Pictures, which included the work The vista from a loggia, Nîmes by Georges Loukomski. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 840.00 (€ 1,232.76) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Georges Loukomski have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in June 2021 the work Dowgate Hill, London was auctioned for GBP 1,250.00 (€ 1,456.57).
