In October 2016 Christies in Paris held the auction Art Moderne, which included the work Le harpiste by Georges Terzian. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 5,000.00 67% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Georges Terzian - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Johny Guitar, which sold at auction in February 2013 for GBP 16,250.00 (€ 18,875.30).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 67 % übertroffen
Im Oktober 2016 führte Christies in Paris die Auktion Art Moderne durch, in der auch die Arbeit Le harpiste von Georges Terzian zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 5.000,00 und damit 67% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Georges Terzian mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Johny Guitar beobachtet, die im Februar 2013 für GBP 16.250,00 (€ 18.875,30) versteigert wurde.
