Auction result well in line with expectations
In February 2014 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Old Master & 19th Century Paintings and Drawings, Sculptures, Miniatures, Frames, which included the work Jument Et Son Poulain Au Pré by Georges Swertschkoff. It changed hands for a price of EUR 190.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 150.00 – 200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Georges Swertschkoff achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Cheval Alezan in February 2014 with an auction result of EUR 2,022.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Februar 2014 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Old Master & 19th Century Paintings and Drawings, Sculptures, Miniatures, Frames durch, in der auch die Arbeit Jument Et Son Poulain Au Pré von Georges Swertschkoff zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 190,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 150,00 – 200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Georges Swertschkoff erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Cheval Alezan im Februar 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 2.022,00.
