Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work La Coupe A Johnny, 2009 by Georges Moquay was sold in the Sale Benefiting to “Ecoles de l’Espoir” auction at Artcurial in Paris in December 2010. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 3,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 3,443.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Georges Moquay - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Face À La Crise, which sold at auction in December 2017 for EUR 12,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit La Coupe A Johnny, 2009 von Georges Moquay wurde im Dezember 2010 in der Auktion Sale Benefiting to “Ecoles de l’Espoir” bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 3.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 3.443,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Georges Moquay mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Face À La Crise beobachtet, die im Dezember 2017 für EUR 12.000,00 versteigert wurde.
