This artwork by Georges Lemmen achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Paris in April 2021. In the The 20th Century Art Online Sale auction, the work Jeune Fille Dans Un Intérieur sold for EUR 16,250.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Georges Lemmen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La modiste in June 2004 with an auction result of GBP 173,250.00 (€ 257,847.89).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Georges Lemmen erzielte im April 2021 bei Christies in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion The 20th Century Art Online Sale wurde die Arbeit Jeune Fille Dans Un Intérieur für EUR 16.250,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Georges Lemmen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La modiste im Juni 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 173.250,00 (€ 257.847,89).
