The work Still Life by Georges Cosmadopoulos was sold in the British & Continental Pictures including Greek Art auction at Sothebys in Olympia in May 2007. The auction ended at the price of GBP 1,800.00 (€ 2,648.82), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 1,200.00 – 1,800.00. Admittedly, works by Georges Cosmadopoulos have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Greek Sea in April 2008 with an auction result of GBP 9,375.00 (€ 11,951.80).

Die Arbeit Still Life von Georges Cosmadopoulos wurde im Mai 2007 in der Auktion British & Continental Pictures including Greek Art bei Sothebys in Olympia versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 1.800,00 (€ 2.648,82) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.200,00 – 1.800,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Georges Cosmadopoulos auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Greek Sea im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 9.375,00 (€ 11.951,80).
