A top price for George Kwesi Afedzi Hughes - as previously expected
This work without title by George Kwesi Afedzi Hughes was sold in the Modern & Contemporary African Art Online sale auction at Bonhams in London in November 2020. The price achieved of GBP 2,295.00 (€ 2,561.99) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, this work without title is the most expensive artwork by George Kwesi Afedzi Hughes that we have observed at auctions so far.
