Admittedly, works by George Samuel Elgood have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Roses And Pinks At Levens Hall, Kendal, Cumbria in June 2007 with an auction result of GBP 9,600.00 (€ 14,245.92).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 1.997,50 (€ 2.893,63) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 66%.
