In the The Lyndon Goodwin Harris Collection of Watercolours by Albert Goodwin, Joseph Edward Southall & Other Artists auction, the work A farmyard in early spring sold for GBP 1,020.00 (€ 1,538.95) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 500.00. Admittedly, works by George Samuel Elgood have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Roses And Pinks At Levens Hall, Kendal, Cumbria in June 2007 with an auction result of GBP 9,600.00 (€ 14,245.92).
