A top price for George Osodi - as previously expected
In May 2010 Phillips in New York held the auction AFRICA Theme Sale, which included the work Delta Rebel from Oil Rich Niger Delta by George Osodi. It changed hands for a price of USD 7,500.00 (€ 6,063.55) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Delta Rebel from Oil Rich Niger Delta is the most expensive artwork by George Osodi that we have observed at auctions so far.
