Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Gloucester Harbor by George Loftus Noyes was sold in the American Art | Bonhams Skinner auction at Bonhams in Marlborough, Massachusetts in May this year. Here, the upper estimate of USD 5,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 5,376.00 (€ 5,045.99). Admittedly, works by George Loftus Noyes have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Summer's Peace in November 2021 with an auction result of USD 37,500.00 (€ 33,224.06).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Gloucester Harbor von George Loftus Noyes wurde im Mai diesen Jahres in der Auktion American Art | Bonhams Skinner bei Bonhams in Marlborough, Massachusetts versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 5.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 5.376,00 (€ 5.045,99) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von George Loftus Noyes auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Summer's Peace im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 37.500,00 (€ 33.224,06).
