Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work The cup bearer; and Lost in thought by George Lawrence Bulleid was sold in the Victorian and British Impressionist Pictures including Drawings and Watercolours auction at Christies in London in November 2009. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 3,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 4,000.00 (€ 4,377.48). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by George Lawrence Bulleid - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A girl playing panpipes, which sold at auction in July 2018 for GBP 8,125.00 (€ 9,109.91).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit The cup bearer; and Lost in thought von George Lawrence Bulleid wurde im November 2009 in der Auktion Victorian and British Impressionist Pictures including Drawings and Watercolours bei Christies in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 3.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 4.000,00 (€ 4.377,48) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von George Lawrence Bulleid mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A girl playing panpipes beobachtet, die im Juli 2018 für GBP 8.125,00 (€ 9.109,91) versteigert wurde.
