The work Untitled (Girl with Ball) by George Keyt was sold in the Modern and Contemporary South Asian Art auction at Bonhams in London in November last year. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 24,225.00 (€ 28,071.24), 62% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by George Keyt have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Triptych 1929 in October 2018 with an auction result of GBP 162,500.00 (€ 183,249.87).

Die Arbeit Untitled (Girl with Ball) von George Keyt wurde im November letzten Jahres in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary South Asian Art bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 24.225,00 (€ 28.071,24) und damit 62% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von George Keyt auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Triptych 1929 im Oktober 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 162.500,00 (€ 183.249,87).
