Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Apprehension by George Keyt was auctioned at Bonhams in London in November this year. The price achieved of GBP 5,760.00 (€ 6,674.59) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by George Keyt achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Triptych 1929 in October 2018 with an auction result of GBP 162,500.00 (€ 183,249.87).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Apprehension von George Keyt kam im November diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.760,00 (€ 6.674,59) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von George Keyt erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Triptych 1929 im Oktober 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 162.500,00 (€ 183.249,87).
