Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (Bearded Man & Woman) by George Keyt was auctioned at Bonhams in London in November this year. It changed hands for a price of GBP 5,760.00 (€ 6,674.59) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by George Keyt achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Triptych 1929 in October 2018 with an auction result of GBP 162,500.00 (€ 183,249.87).

Die Arbeit Untitled (Bearded Man & Woman) von George Keyt kam im November diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 5.760,00 (€ 6.674,59) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von George Keyt erzielen.
