The work Untitled (Artist and Muse) by George Keyt was sold in the South Asian Modern + Contemporary Art auction at Christies in New York in September last year. It achieved a price of USD 88,200.00 (€ 90,156.39), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 47%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by George Keyt - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Triptych 1929, which sold at auction in October 2018 for GBP 162,500.00 (€ 183,249.87).

Die Arbeit Untitled (Artist and Muse) von George Keyt wurde im September letzten Jahres in der Auktion South Asian Modern + Contemporary Art bei Christies in New York versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 88.200,00 (€ 90.156,39) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 47%. Für andere Arbeiten von George Keyt mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Triptych 1929 beobachtet, die im Oktober 2018 für GBP 162.500,00 (€ 183.249,87) versteigert wurde.
