Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2020 a collector was able to acquire the work Brooding Canyon, New Mexico by George Kennedy Brandriff for USD 701.25 (€ 573.39). This price was achieved in the auction California and Western Art Online at Bonhams in Los Angeles and was even below the estimate range of USD 800.00 – 1,200.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by George Kennedy Brandriff achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The New Church in October 2020 with an auction result of USD 12,575.00 (€ 10,796.77).
