Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2014 Christies in London held the auction Christie's Interiors Including the Tessa Kennedy Collection, which included the work Black Hunter In The Stableyard by George Jackson. The price achieved of GBP 2,500.00 (€ 3,025.88) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by George Jackson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A Saddled Black Horse In A Yard With A River Landscape Beyond, which sold at auction in November 2005 for GBP 6,000.00 (€ 8,814.76).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.500,00 (€ 3.025,88) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden.
