The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Gezicht op Keizersgracht hoek Reguliersgracht: an elegant lady strolling along a canal in Amsterdam in October 2007 with an auction result of EUR 760,250.00.

Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Old Masters & 19th century Art - (including Dutch Impressionism) bei Christies in Amsterdam erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 5.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von George Hendrik Breitner erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Gezicht op Keizersgracht hoek Reguliersgracht: an elegant lady strolling along a canal in Amsterdam im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 760.250,00.
