Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work A still life of grapes, peaches, pineapple and other fruit by George Gray was sold in the Collections, Including the Selected Contents of Meldon Park auction at Bonhams in February this year. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 3,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 3,187.50 (€ 3,635.77). Other works by George Gray have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 2,880.00 (€ 4,302.98) in October 2006 for the work Largs, Ayrshire.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit A still life of grapes, peaches, pineapple and other fruit von George Gray wurde im Februar diesen Jahres in der Auktion Collections, Including the Selected Contents of Meldon Park bei Bonhams versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 3.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 3.187,50 (€ 3.635,77) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von George Gray haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von GBP 2.880,00 (€ 4.302,98) im Oktober 2006 für die Arbeit Largs, Ayrshire beobachtet.
