This price was achieved in the auction Audrey Hepburn: The Personal Collection at Christies in London and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of GBP 900.00 many times over. Admittedly, works by George Daniell have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Audrey Hepburn as Natasha Rostov in the 1956 Paramount production War and Peace, Rome, 1955 in September 2017 with an auction result of GBP 15,000.00 (€ 17,017.69).
