In June this year Christies in London held the auction The Robin and Rupert Hambro Collection, which included the work Ruined ecclesiastical buildings, possibly Easby Abbey by George Cuitt. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 2,898.00 (€ 3,372.77), 45% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by George Cuitt achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A view from Marsh Edge looking down towards Richmond A view of Easby Ruins taken from the road to Loves Lane A view of the Round Howe surmounted by a temple A view of Easby Abbey from the Swale A view of Richmond Castle and the river below A view of in May 2001 with an auction result of GBP 135,750.00 (€ 227,587.97).
Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A view from Marsh Edge looking down towards Richmond A view of Easby Ruins taken from the road to Loves Lane A view of the Round Howe surmounted by a temple A view of Easby Abbey from the Swale A view of Richmond Castle and the river below A view of im Mai 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 135.750,00 (€ 227.587,97).
