Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Still Life With Flowers by Georg Oskarowitsch Schlicht was auctioned at Sothebys in London in November 2008, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for GBP 9,375.00 (€ 11,335.08). Other works by Georg Oskarowitsch Schlicht have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in June 2013 by the work Still Life With Porcelain at GBP 13,750.00 (€ 16,048.71).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Still Life With Flowers von Georg Oskarowitsch Schlicht im November 2008 bei Sothebys in London versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für GBP 9.375,00 (€ 11.335,08) den Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Georg Oskarowitsch Schlicht wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im Juni 2013 die Arbeit Still Life With Porcelain mit GBP 13.750,00 (€ 16.048,71).
