In March 2006 Christies in London held the auction 19th Century European Pictures including Russian Pictures, which included the work The Road To Market, An Italian Town by Georg Fischhof. Other works by Georg Fischhof have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 4,320.00 (€ 6,415.34) in November 2006 for the work Venetian canal views.
