This price was achieved in the auction The Spring Classic Sale, Stockholm at Bukowski in Stockholm and was even below the estimate range of SEK 40,000.00 – 50,000.00 set by the auction house. Despite this disappointing result, Mythological scene is the most expensive artwork by Georg Engelhard Schröder that we have observed at auction so far.
