This artwork by Geoffrey Dashwood achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in London in September 2020. In the Modern British and Irish Art auction, the work Bullfinch sold for GBP 3,562.50 (€ 3,928.24) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by Geoffrey Dashwood have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work British Red Kite in November 2007 with an auction result of USD 25,000.00 (€ 17,020.70).

Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Geoffrey Dashwood auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit British Red Kite im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 25.000,00 (€ 17.020,70).
