Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2006 a collector was able to acquire the work Towards St. Paul'S Cathederal From Hampstead Heath by Geoff Masters for GBP 240.00 (€ 356.41). This price was achieved in the auction British, Continental and Russian Pictures at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 400.00 – 600.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Geoff Masters have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in November 2006 by the work Fen Cottage; And A Sunny Afternoon, Auvergne, France at GBP 420.00 (€ 623.71).
