Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In January 2012 Sothebys in New York held the auction Important Old Master Paintings and Sculpture, which included the work Saint Bartholomew by Gentile di Niccolò Massio. Here, the upper estimate of USD 350,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 362,500.00 (€ 277,713.94). Other works by Gentile di Niccolò Massio have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 542,500.00 (€ 423,695.72) in January 2009 for the work Saint Matthew.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Januar 2012 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Important Old Master Paintings and Sculpture durch, in der auch die Arbeit Saint Bartholomew von Gentile di Niccolò Massio zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 350.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 362.500,00 (€ 277.713,94) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Gentile di Niccolò Massio haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von USD 542.500,00 (€ 423.695,72) im Januar 2009 für die Arbeit Saint Matthew beobachtet.
