A top price for Gebre Kristos Desta - as previously expected
The work Reclining Female Figure by Gebre Kristos Desta was auctioned at Bonhams in Paris in November last year. The price achieved of EUR 8,925.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Reclining Female Figure is the most expensive artwork by Gebre Kristos Desta that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Reclining Female Figure von Gebre Kristos Desta kam im November letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in Paris zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 8.925,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 7.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben worden.
