The price achieved of HKD 177,000.00 (€ 20,457.93) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 150,000.00 – 250,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ge Yilong have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Poems In Small Cursive Script in May 2019 with an auction result of HKD 750,000.00 (€ 85,837.29).
