Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Crucifixion by Gaudenzio Ferrari was sold in the Old Master and 19th Century Drawings including Andrea del auction at Christies in London in July 2005. The price achieved of GBP 18,000.00 (€ 26,108.83) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Admittedly, works by Gaudenzio Ferrari have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work San Silano in December 2004 with an auction result of EUR 145,880.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The Crucifixion von Gaudenzio Ferrari wurde im Juli 2005 in der Auktion Old Master and 19th Century Drawings including Andrea del bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 18.000,00 (€ 26.108,83) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 15.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Gaudenzio Ferrari auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit San Silano im Dezember 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 145.880,00.
